RaCERS Director Speaks at National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Event on Technology, Smart Cities
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation held a meeting devoted to adaptation of technologies for firefighter safety in Philadelphia on September 24-26, 2019. The Fire Service Innovation in Safety event was an interactive opportunity for firefighters, researchers, and manufacturers to discuss the next generation of technological advances that will impact firefighters, fire departments, cities, and the greater environment.
RaCERS Director Charles Jennings spoke on the use of data for decision making, and organizational challenges of adapting smart cities innovations to emergency response.
