John Jay Faculty Present to Ukranian Government Officials
Profs. Glenn Corbett (Chair, Public Management), Lucia Velotti (Security, Fire, and Emergency Management (SFEM)), and Paul Kearns (SFEM) hosted a delegation of Ukranian government officials on Thursday, November 9. The group, part of a US State Department International Visitor Leadership Program, received presentations on disaster response, the role of intergovernmental relations, and management of volunteers.
The visit included a presentation of the Christian Regenhard Center for Emergency Response Studies and the role of after-action reviews to improve practice.
