Dr. Griffin is Director of First Responder Programs for the US Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology (S&T) Directorate. Prior to coming to DHS, he had a twenty-plus year career in local government emergency services. He was brought to DHS S&T to head the newly created division devoted to first responder concerns. Dr. Griffin provided an overview of current and planned efforts to advance First Responder Programs at the US Department of Homeland Security’s Science and Technology Directorate.
