Mr. Jeff Stern has a career spanning the fire service, emergency management, federal policy, and research. Mr. Stern reflected on his experiences in the field at major disasters while working in the Office of the Secretary of the US Department of Homeland Security during the Bush administration. His work is featured in the newly published Handbook of Critical Incident Analysis, Edited by Prof. Richard Schwester (Public Management) and published by M.E. Sharpe.
