Evacuation of New Orleans in Hurricane Katrina

David Heller, transportation planner with the South Jersey Metropolitan Planning Organization, presented his analysis of evacuation issues related to Hurricane Katrina. Mr. Heller’s talk attracted numerous questions, and identified the importance of working with transportation planners in emergency planning.
