RACERS FACULTY VELOTTI, CONTRERAS QUOTED ON COVID-19 ISSUES

RaCERS Faculty Lucia Velotti and activity George Contreras were active in covid-19 related scholarly activity.

Lucia Volotti was interviewed for a piece featured on the John Jay College website.

Meanwhile, George Contreras continued his stream of publications and advocacy related to the covid-19 with a publication in Health Care Business Today . Contreras was also honored on August 9 by the Consul General of Ecuador in New Jersey, the Ecuadorian Alliance of Passaic and the Mayor of Passaic. As part of the Ecuadorian Independence Day ceremony, Contreras was specifically recognized for his tireless and ongoing efforts during the COVID pandemic on the front lines as a paramedic and in the virtual classroom as a professor.
