RaCERS Faculty Mark Chubb Elected Chair of Board of Directors of the Institution of Fire Engineers
Mark Chubb, an affiliated faculty member at the Christian Regenhard Center, was elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the Institution of Fire Engineers, a global organization based in the United Kingdom. As Chairman of the Board, he will help set policy for the member-based fire safety and professional registry organization with chapters in numerous countries.
Chubb was a presenter at the Center’s formative conference in 2008, and presented at our 2018 high-rise fire safety conference. He also teaches in the College’s Emergency Management Master’s program. He is currently co-leading development of a new course in climate change and disaster for the program.
