RaCERS Faculty to Present, College Office for Advancement of Research Sponsors FDNY High Rise Symposium
RaCERS Faculty Glenn Corbett and Charles Jennings will present at the 2025 FDNY High Rise Symposium. The faculty will be presenting on a brief history of high-rise building code changes following 9/11. Both Corbett and Jennings participated with testimony and advocacy both proposing and supporting improvements through the Skyscraper Safety Campaign. Efforts included New York City government, national code groups, and the federal government.

The 3-day event, which will be held October 3-5, 2025 features lectures, tours, and demonstrations.
