RaCERS Attends Memorial for Prof. Jim Quintiere at University of Maryland

RaCERS faculty attended the celebration of life and legacy of Dr. Jim Quintiere at the University of Maryland College Park, where he was on faculty of the Department of Fire Protection Engineering.

His contributions and support post-9/11 were very impactful for the Skyscraper Safety Campaign and later the Christian Regenhard Center for Emergency Response Studies (RaCERS). Jim presented at several high-rise fire safety events organized by the Center and was a treasured resource.

We were pleased to convey our gratitude on behalf of both organizations and join with his former students, colleagues, and peers from government, academia, and international bodies.
