RaCERS Staffer DeRubbio presents at International Society for Respiratory Protection in Oxford, England
Dominck DeRubbio, RaCERS Research Associate and faculty member in the Department of Security, Fire, and Emergency Management, presenter a poster at the International Society for Respiratory Protection. The meeting was held in Oxford, England on the campus of Oxford University.
DeRubbio worked with RaCERS staff to develop a presentation on his in-progress research on evolving respiratory protection standards during covid-19. The research pays special attention to the dynamic between federal, state, and consensus standards guidance throughout the early phases of the pandemic – 2020-2023.
The study is also distinguished by its focus on workplace regulation and will highlight the vast array of approaches across the states. He is attending the conference through September 26.
In addition to his long affiliation with the Center and College, DeRubbio is a health and safety consultant working in the New York metropolitan area.
