March 2016 – “RaCERS coordinated a FEMA Region III-sponsored Tabletop Exercise”
RaCERS coordinated a FEMA Region III-sponsored Tabletop Exercise” (TTX) on Continuity of Operations (CCOP) for the fire service in Virginia Beach, VA. The event, held in Virginia Beach, was co-sponsored by the Tidewater Fire Chiefs’ Association in conjunction with the Virginia Department of Emergency Management (VDEM) and Virginia Department of Fire Programs (VDFP). The event was attended by Executive Director Melvin Carter, of VDFP , and Coordinator Dr. Jeffrey Stern of VDEM.
