RaCERS Faculty Presents, Organizes at FEMA EM Higher Education Symposium

Prof. Lucia Velotti of John Jay College of Criminal Justice is serving as an organizer and presenter at the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s 2022 Higher Education Symposium. The conference, being held in Emmitsburg, Maryland at the National Emergency Training Center’s Emergency Management Institute. Since 1994, the Higher Education Program has helped foster growth in the academic community to include college and university-based programs in emergency management, homeland security, and related fields.

Prof. Velotti has served as a delegate to the conference for several years, providing representation and input for the College’s programs in emergency management, where she serves on the graduate and undergraduate faculty.
