RaCERS faculty attend Underwiters Laboratories (UL) Conference on Emerging Building Technologies
RaCERS Director Charles Jennings represented the Center at the conference “Meeting the Challenges of the Future Built Environment,” which was co-sponsored by the FDNY and the International Association of Firefighters. The conference, held on January 30-31, was hosted by FDNY at their Randall’s Island training center.
The event featured in-depth presentations and discussion on tall wood construction, combustible façade systems, and energy storage (battery) systems.
The event was organized by Underwriters Laboratories Firefighter Safety Research Institute.
