RaCERS-Affiliated Researcher co-authors ground-breaking manual
March 2014 –RaCERS-Affiliated Researcher co-authors ground-breaking manual on evidence-based practice for fire services. Fire Chief Len Garis, Affilated Research Faculty of the Regenhard Center, has co-written (with former RaCERS seminar presenter Darryl Plecas) “Make the Right Decision: Evidence-Based Decision Making for Fire Service Professionals.” The manual is the first of its kind targeting fire services. It was published by the Centre for Public Safety and Criminal Justice Research at the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada.
