Glen Youngblood of Transcare gave a riveting presentation on the experience of TransCare as both an ambulance service provider and survivor of Hurricane Sandy. The challenges of providing service from a business continuity standpoint, and their integral role in providing ambulances for evacuation of medical facilities was discussed. Mr. Youngblood also gave a thorough overview of the emergency medical service provision through mutual aid and the FEMA national ambulance contract.
